Purchase a Timeless Portrait of Your Child — $60

These years go by in a blink. Capture this moment in your child’s life with a beautiful professional portrait that your family will treasure for years to come.

Each portrait is created by Seattle-based photographer Heidi Leonard (heidileonardphotography.com), known for her ability to capture a child's personality within a photograph. Heidi is also an Open Window School alumni parent, making this a special opportunity to work with a photographer who knows and loves our community!

Portraits are $60 each, and you may purchase as many prints as you’d like.

Portraits for Open Window School students will be taken during the school day.

If you have an additional child who does not attend Open Window School, you may purchase a portrait for them as well.
Please include the child’s name(s) and number of prints in the “group name” section when ordering.

Non–Open Window School Children Portrait Times:

• April 14, 8:30–9:30 a.m.

• April 16, 2:30–3:30 p.m.

Children who do not attend OWS must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Additional details will be shared in late March with families who purchase portraits.

FAQs

Do I need to attend Auction Night to receive my portrait?
Auction Night is a wonderful community event, and we hope you’ll join us—but attendance is not required. Portraits will be taken on April 14 and 16 during the school day. Finished portraits will be available for pickup in mid to late spring.

Will the portrait be framed?
No. Portraits will be professionally matted, allowing each family to choose a frame that fits their personal style.

Do we need to visit Heidi’s studio?
No. Portraits for Open Window students will be taken at school. You’ll receive advance notice of your child’s photo day so you can prepare outfits, haircuts, etc. Students will be pulled briefly from class and returned immediately afterward.

What if my child is sick on picture day?
If your child is absent on picture day, we will contact you to schedule a makeup session. Makeup portraits will likely take place at Heidi’s studio in Bellevue.

If I don’t order, will my child still be photographed?
No. Due to the time involved, only children with purchased portraits will be photographed.

How to Order

• Please indicate the full number of printed portraits you'd like to receive.
• On the next page, it will prompt you to put in each of your children's names.
• If you are ordering two prints of the same child, please input their name twice (scale to the quantity needed)
